Course Overview
Langston began as a 9-hole course and expanded to 18 holes in the 1950s. Now a par 72 layout stretching between 6,340 and 6,652 yards, it offers a moderately challenging experience suited for a wide range of players.
The course is home to the only public water hazards in D.C., and features several memorable holes – including Nos. 1, 3, 8, 9, 10, and 12 – that require strategic play and reward precision. With a course rating around 69.5 and slope of 115, Langston maintains a welcoming feel while still providing depth for experienced golfers.
Practice & Amenities
Players can warm up or fine-tune their game at Langston’s full practice facility, which includes a driving range, pitching and chipping areas, and a putting green.
On-site amenities include a golf shop and the Langston Grille snack bar. Lessons are available from a professional instructor, and the course hosts junior golf and educational programs, serving the local youth community through a dedicated learning center.

Located at 2600 Benning Road NE, Langston is easily accessible via the DC Streetcar.
